The A la carte menu features an impressive variety traditional Thai dishes ranging from appetizers, salads, soups to main courses. Our house special is Kaeng Born, Suan Thip Light Curry and Kaeng Kee Lek - a herb curry served with salted fish.
To celebrate special occasions such as Valentine's Day, Songkran Thai New Year, or Loy Krathong - the Festival of Lights, the restaurant offers a special theme dinner menu, festive decorations and entertainment to suit the occasion.
Set in the midst of an artfully landscaped riverside garden, Suan Thip Baan Chao Phraya Thai Cultural House offers excellent Thai cuisine. Several separate dining areas are set in the midst of the beautifully landscaped gardens planted with magnificent native flora.
The Main Thai House There are two separate dining areas in the main pavilion. Guests have the option of either dining in the cool comfort of the air-conditioned restaurant or al fresco. Tables are set on the beautifully decorated terrace, offering a splendid view overlooking the lush gardens and the Chao Phraya River.
Thai Pavilions For private parties and especially for those who enjoy being outdoors, our Thai Pavilions or Sala, dotted around the sprawling tropical garden, provide an ideal place to enjoy the scenic landscape.
Dine under the shade of the leafy canopy or under the stars on a moonlit night. From dawn to dusk, the sound of rustling leaves is punctuated by cheerful bird song, while circada serenade fills the night.
The sala, with its leisurely Thai style seating, is comfortable and offers more privacy. Each has a beautiful Thai name such as Duang Dok Mai (Blooming Blossoms), Lam Mai Hawm (Scented Boughs) and Jan Jamrate Saeng (Silvery Moon). A few of the pavilions offer a panoramic view of the Chao Phraya River.
